The story of Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Devon Still and his daughter Leah, who’s battling stage 4 Neuroblastoma cancer, has captured the hearts of people all over the world. The Bengals organization originally cut Devon from the team in August, but re-signed him to the practice squad to help him pay for his daughter’s cancer treatment. In the weeks since then, Devon and Leah’s story has made headlines everywhere, and has inspired millions.

On Thursday, Devon appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to update fans on her progress. During his chat with Ellen, Devon revealed that Leah wants to be a nurse when she grows up, and the generous talk show host presented him with a $10,000 on behalf of Shutterfly to go to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Check out Devon’s interview with Ellen in its entirety in the video below, and be sure to have the Kleenex handy.
