Traci Braxton isn’t taking her sister Tamar‘s recent “duet with auto tune category” at the Grammys tweet, which many took as a shot at her, to heart. The drama started on a recent episode of their reality show, Braxton Family Values, when things got heated between one of the other Braxton sisters, Trina, and Tamar during a discussion on how their oldest sister, Grammy Award-winner Toni Braxton, paved the way for their success.

Not long after, Traci posted a picture of Toni on Twitter with the caption, “This little lady right here, my big sis @tonibraxton is the reason I am here today! She paved the way for all of us to be successful!” When a fan responded by tweeting, “you’re going to get a Grammy Traci I can see it already”, Tamar replied, “Do the Grammys have a duet with auto tune category yet? Cause… (chair emoji) (thumbs down emoji)”.

Although many came down on Tamar for throwing shade at her big sister (she eventually deleted the tweet), Traci doesn’t see it as a big deal. “You know what, fans like to be on sides, and try to cause some division with the sisters or speculate anything. That’s my baby sister,” Traci told me during a recent conversation for my entertainment news column, “The Scoop.”

“Tamar and I, we know we love each other – we know we say things to each other and everything like that. But you know, she’s the baby sister. We spoiled her – she’s going to be spoiled. It’s like Venus and Serena, you know, when they have a match together, but they still love each other.”

The friction among the Braxton sisters that viewers witness on their television screens is one of the reasons why Tamar recently hinted that she may not do another season of Braxton Family Values, but Traci told me she thinks the show should go on. “I think we should let the show keep going on and on until it dies down,” she told me. “But you know everybody can identify with us when we’re taping, or showing people our lives and letting them know, you know, this is us. And people say, ‘You know what, that’s my family.’”
