‘Hunger Games’ Cast Unites to Sing Taylor Swift

Woody Harrelson hosted Saturday Night Live last night, and one of the most talked-about sketches was actually his opening monologue. He mentioned that the last time he hosted the show was 25 years ago- in 1989. He then noted that there is a somewhat popular album out right now called 1989, released by little-known up-and-comer Taylor Swift.

Harrelson began discussing the good old days, before he was joined on stage by his Hunger Games castmates Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, and Katniss herself, Jennifer Lawrence, none of who remember the year in question if they were born by then at all. But they encouraged Harrelson to engage his hazy memories of that time to sing about it.

This is actually the second recent sketch based (at least in part) on Ms. Swift’s omnipresence. The digital short “Swiftamine” advertised a fictional vertigo medication for adults who have just realized they like Taylor Swift.

What do you think of Jennifer Lawrence’s singing? Let us know in the comments below.
