Big Sean Reveals That The adidas Yeezi Is “Definitely Better” Than The Nike Air Yeezy II
There are a lot of things that sneakerheads have to be thankful for this year. For example, they should be thankful for all of the releases that they have snagged over the last 12 months. They should also be thankful for all of the sneakers that they’re going to grab in the coming year. And of course, they should be thankful that Kanye West is finally—finally!—going to release his adidas Yeezi sneaker to the world sometime very soon.
We’re still not sure exactly when the Yeezi is going to drop. But during a recent interview with High Snobiety, Big Sean revealed that he has seen the Yeezi sneaker in person. And while he wasn’t able to give out any details about the sneaker, he was able to say that he believes the Yeezi is an improvement on the Nike Air Yeezy II sneaker that Kanye created.
“I have seen the new shoe,” he said. “I can’t say much about it other than it’s definitely better than the last one and more improved, just like everything else Kanye does.”
Sean isn’t the first person to cosign the Yeezy, either. Earlier this month, Kanye collaborator Theophilus London came out and called the Yeezi “the future of sneakers.” But Big Sean—who has released a pair of sneakers through adidas—has raised the stakes here by hyping up the sneaker even more. Now, we’re curious as to what makes the Yeezi sneaker “better” and what improvements Kanye made to the Yeezy II, which was obviously a great sneaker to begin with.
What do you think Kanye has in store for us? Whatever it is, we can’t wait for it to get here! And we’re very thankful that it sounds like we might finally get to see what the sneaker looks like sometime during the next month or so.
