Meek Mill is a free man after being released from a Philadelphia correctional facility yesterday. The “Believe It” rapper had been behind bars since July, when he was sentenced to 3 to 6 months for probation violation stemming from a 2009 conviction on gun and drug charges, but his freedom comes with a few restrictions. According to TMZ:

“Mill was granted parole on the condition he complete a community service and treatment program. It’s unclear exactly what that program will involve, at this point.”

Meek is prohibited from traveling outside of Philly until both conditions are met. “Until the defendant completes those components, only then will her honor entertain a motion . . . for the defendant to be able to travel,” said Tasha Jamerson, a spokeswoman for the Philly District Attorney. “This means that the defendant cannot book entertainment gigs, etc.”

Guess that means Meek better complete those programs quick if he wants to go back to living the high life of a hip-hop star.
