Take A Look At The adidas Originals EQT Running Guidance 93 Sneakers That Pusha T Designed
When Kanye West signed a deal with adidas last year and agreed to start designing sneakers for them, we knew that he would be taking an active role in the brand. But what we didn’t know at the time was that he would be bringing in some of his G.O.O.D. Music artists to help him create sneakers as well. However, that’s exactly what happened recently when Pusha T got the opportunity to put his own spin on a pair of adidas Originals EQT Running Guidance 93 sneakers. And the result is a pretty dope collaboration between adidas and the Clipse rapper.
Pusha just showed off his new adidas Originals EQT sneaker for the first time by giving GQ a sneak peek at it. And from what we can tell, the sneaker features a “coke white” color (no surprise there!), a unique fish scale pattern on the heel, and lots and lots of leather. It’s pretty clear that Pusha was inspired by his rhymes and his former lifestyle when he was creating this sneaker. And while that makes it very personal to him, we also think that other people will like it because it appears to be a sneaker that will go with just about anything.
During an interview with GQ, Pusha talked about why he chose to design his own version of the EQT and why he went with the specific design that he chose.
“I think the EQT is just a dope silhouette people can rock with today’s fashions,” he said. “I wanted something that would complement a whole outfit…That’s how I get dressed. I think of the whole silhouette.”
Pusha’s adidas sneaker will be available through select adidas retailers on December 23 and will retail for $200. We’ve included some other photos of it below. Do you like what Pusha created here?
