Would You Pay More Than $300 To Outfit Your Baby In Crocheted Sneakers That Look Like Air Yeezys and Yeezy Boosts?
Buying a pair of adidas Yeezy Boosts or Nike Air Yeezys for your baby is dumb. It’s also impossible because, as far as we know, adidas and Nike don’t make either of those sneakers in sizes small enough for babies. But even if they did, we wouldn’t recommend buying them for a baby. Reason being, IT’S A BABY! And a baby doesn’t need sneakers that people are auctioning off for thousands of dollars on eBay. All they need is something to keep their feet warm and clean—and something that will be comfortable on their feet.
With that in mind, the Picasso Babe “Collection Pack” is actually pretty cool. It features a bunch of crocheted sneakers that look almost identical to real sneakers. And they don’t look like any old sneakers. They look like all of the Yeezys that have been released over the years. From the original Yeezys to the Red Octobers to the most recent Yeezys (and are those Air Mags we see?!), the Picasso Babe pack is pretty much a one-stop-shop for outfitting your baby in Kanye West‘s kicks, without actually forcing you to pay top dollar for each individual pair.
Unfortunately, though, the crocheted sneaker pack is not cheap. In fact, in order to buy it, you need to buy the entire “Collection Pack” on Etsy and, currently, it will run you more than $360. It’s why you probably haven’t seen many people, outside of celebrities like Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys, buying the crocheted sneakers for their babies. The photo above shows the entire pack that Swizz bought for his 5-month-old son Genesis recently.
What do you think about the Picasso Babe “Collection Pack”? Is there any way you would actually buy it for your baby, or do you think spending $360 on crocheted sneakers is a dumb idea?
