Can You Believe People Are Trying To Sell adidas Yeezy Boost 350 Sneakers For As Much As $10,000?

At this point, we’ve seen hard-to-get sneakers sell for some pretty ridiculous prices. Remember when the original Nike Air Yeezy sneakers dropped? Within just days, they were going for thousands of dollars on eBay, and it seemed like people were willing to pay any price to get their hands on them. It’s the way the sneaker world works these days. If you want to get a pair of exclusive sneakers, you need to either luck out and land a pair when they go on sale—or be prepared to pay top dollar for them when the resellers put them up for sale on auction sites. It’s madness.

But even with all of that being said, it’s still insane to see how much money people are trying to collect for a pair of the new adidas Yeezy Boost 350 sneakers. The sneakers went on sale on Saturday and promptly sold out everywhere, which means you’re not going to be able to get your hands on a pair at this point unless you’re willing to shell out big bucks. But have you seen some of the prices people are trying to sell them for? They are going for as much as $10,000 on eBay at the moment with “good” prices for the sneakers still going as high as a few thousand bucks. We’re not exactly sure if anyone has been willing to shell out that much yet—it doesn’t appear like they have, seeing as how there are Yeezy Boost 350s for as low as “just” $1,000 still available on eBay—but it wouldn’t be unfathomable for $10,000 Yeezys to sell in the not-so-distant future, given how rare they are right now.

What do you think about the astronomical prices of the Yeezy Boost 350s? Once upon a time, Kanye West said that he wanted his adidas sneakers to be accessible to everyone, but it doesn’t seem like that’s happening right now. And the result is very expensive sneakers. Do you think he should do more to help bring those prices down by forcing adidas to release more pairs of his sneakers—or is this just all part of the sneaker game in 2015?
