Former Real Housewives Of Atlanta Star Lisa Wu Says Show Will “Absolutely” Lose Viewers Without NeNe Leakes

Ever since NeNe Leakes announced she would not return for the new season of Real Housewives of Atlanta, fans of the hit Bravo reality series have debated about whether or not the show will survive without its lone remaining original cast member. Hate her or love her, NeNe’s feisty, tell it like it is ways drew in viewers each week, and many question who will be the show’s anchor now that she’s moved on.

Recently, I caught up with Lisa Wu, who, like NeNe, is an original member of the RHOA cast (she exited the show after season 2), and she gave her two cents on the debate. Currently promoting the new season of her latest endeavor, TV One’s Hollywood Divas, Lisa told me that she doesn’t believe NeNe is gone forever from RHOA. “I don’t even believe that Nene’s not coming back. Maybe it’s just for a second, but I think she’ll be back,” she said.

As for what she thinks will happen to the show without NeNe, she added, “But is there life after…you know, we started this thing, and it’s become so huge. And she is an important part of the Housewives of Atlanta – she’s the last original on the show. And it’d be interesting to see the dynamic of what happens after that. I know that they will lose some viewers, absolutely.”

What do you think will happen with RHOA now that NeNe won’t be on the cast? Let us know by leaving a comment below, and be sure to read the rest of my interview with Lisa by checking out the latest edition of “The SCOOP” on TheGoodLifeEA.com!
