Will Smith Denies Divorce Rumors
Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith are dogged by divorce rumors pretty much every year.
Most recently, RadarOnline reported that Will and Jada had pulled the plug on their 17 year marriage, and had already worked out a confidential settlement that dealt with who got what out of their $240 million fortune. They’re exhausted from trying to maintain the façade of a happy union,” a source supposedly told RadarOnline. “They’ve decided to pull the plug in a carefully choreographed manner, [and] agree announcing their split at the end of the summer is the right move.”
RadarOnline’s story quickly picked up steam in the media world, and although he’s never directly addressed the rumors in the past, Will took to social media Monday to deny the gossip. “Under normal circumstances, I don’t usually respond to foolishness. (Because it’s contagious),” he wrote. “But, so many people have extended me their “deepest condolences” that I figured — ‘What the hell… I can be foolish, too!’
“So, in the interest of redundant, repetitious, over & over-again-ness… Jada and I are…NOT GETTING A DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!! : -)
“I promise you all — if I ever decide to divorce my Queen — I SWEAR I’ll tell you myself!”
Good for them!! Making a marriage work under the glare of the spotlight requires a lot. Apparently, Will and Jada are both willing to do what they need to do to keep theirs together.
