Saturday Night Live: Bump In Ratings For Tracy Morgan’s Return

Saturday Night Light had a couple of big reasons to celebrate over the weekend. The legendary sketch comedy show enjoyed a bump in ratings for Tracy Morgan’s triumphant return, which marked his first TV acting gig since last year’s truck accident. According to Deadline.com:

…’SNL’ was up +8% in households from last week’s show hosted by Amy Schumer and up a tenth in 18-49 to match the season premiere hosted by Miley Cyrus in the demo. It also was up from the corresponding episode last October, hosted by Bill Hader (3.8, 1.8), which had tied ‘SNL’ lows.

The episode also featured musical guest Demi Lovato, Tracy’s 30 Rock co-stars – Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Jane Krakowski and Jack McBrayer – and Larry David. Take a look at Tracy’s opening monologue and skit below.
