Power Star Rotimi Says Power, Season 3 Will Be Three Times Better Than Season 2

Power may not be on one of the major networks, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a good show. To the contrary, the show is AMAZING, and my only complaint is the amount of time we have to wait between seasons of the popular Starz network drama series.

Recently, New Jersey native Rotimi, who will reprise his role of “Dre” on the show when it returns next summer, stopped by my show “The SCOOP Reloaded” to tease the upcoming season, Power‘s third. “What you could look out for is that…I can say this, it’s 10 times better than season 2. And I feel like we’ve solidified ourselves as the best show on TV with season 3, and I think that it’s just incredible,” he told me. “Personally my character grows a lot. He makes a decision on who he rocks with whether it’s whoever, but he decides on what he’s going to do.”

With 50 Cent being his mentor, Power costar and executive producer and label head at G-Unit, I asked Ro if he thought the hip-hop mogul’s various beefs with other celebrities would interfere with his relationships in the industry. “No, I don’t think so. That’s personal, whatever they got is personal. But certain things I do respect, as a friend of mine,” he answered. “So I’m the type of person that if my friend has an issue you with somebody, I find out why or whatever the case may be, but I don’t take on certain people’s problems either, but I respect what they have.”

Check out the entire episode of “The SCOOP Reloaded” below.
