Adam Driver Brings Kylo Ren To SNL

Adam Driver hosted Saturday Night Live this week, and the Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Girls star was game to transform into a variety of roles, from a chipper TV host to Aladdin. But the most anticipated was a sketch about his most famous part, Kylo Ren. SNL imagined the brooding villain on the show Undercover Boss, getting to know his employees at Starkiller Base. But Ren, who has been teased on social media about his eagerness to prove his power and darkness, fails to hide his true identity very well:

It also wouldn’t be an election-season SNL without a topical cold open, and they didn’t disappoint. The Republican debate sketch featured Ted Cruz learning everything he knows about New York from Seinfeld, and Jeb Bush getting pranked by Donald Trump.

The evening also featured a heartfelt remembrance of David Bowie by former castmember Fred Armisen, who is also an accomplished rock musician and current band leader for Seth Meyer.
