Lady Gaga To Pay Homage To David Bowie With Performance At The Grammys
Lady Gaga will pay homage to David Bowie with a performance at this year’s Grammy Awards.
Gaga will perform a tribute to the late rock icon that’s described by the Recording Academy as a “multi-sensory testament to Bowie’s artistry and a reflection of his limitless creativity.” The performance will be directed by Nile Rodgers, who produced Bowie’s biggest selling album, 1983′s Let’s Dance.
As we previously reported, Bowie died January 10 in NYC after an eighteen month battle with liver cancer. His passing came a mere two days after his 69th birthday and the release of his latest album, Blackstar. Bowie had not made the news of his illness public.
The Grammy Awards will be broadcast live at 8 pm Monday, February 15.
