Peter Dinklage Tells SNL What He Knows About Jon Snow

Peter Dinklage, best known as Tyrion Lannister on Game of Thrones, hosted Saturday Night Live this weekend. And in his opening monologue, he was quick to address the show’s biggest mystery ahead of its Season 6 premiere.

“Let’s get this out of the way. I have no idea if Jon Snow is really dead,” the New Jersey native said. “I even have the new scripts, but if I’m not in the scene, Petey no read-y.”

In the very last moment of Season 5, Jon Snow was stabbed repeatedly by the men under his command in the Night’s Watch; the episode ended with Snow lying on the ground, with blood pooling around him.

After being photographed on set for the upcoming season, actor Kit Harrington (who plays Snow) stated he had returned just to shoot scenes as a corpse.

However, many fans are convinced the fantasy series will not let Snow actually die. There have already been several examples of characters returning from the dead, or inhabiting other bodies with their spirits.
