You Probably Have Free Tickets From Ticketmaster

Due to a 2003 class action lawsuit settlement, Ticketmaster is now offering vouchers for free tickets to anyone who bought through the company from October 21st, 1999 and February 27th, 2013. The offer is meant to pay back customers who paid “excessive” fees, but the free tickets come with many restrictions and aren’t available yet.

Ticketmaster, which is now owned by Live Nation, emailed eligible customers about the settlement and the vouchers. But you should still check your Ticketmaster account on their website even if you didn’t receive an email, in case your account is different than it was when you purchased tickets. If you can’t access your Ticketmaster account, you can always try to reset it.

Live Nation says the vouchers can only be used for “eligible events,” a list of which is finally available after several days of delay. It shows many events as already sold out for vouchers.
