Friday night, Lifetime and V103 with Jermaine Dupri hosted a viewing party at Suite Food Lounge for the premiere of the second season of its hit series The Rap Game. Several local VIPs were on hand to celebrate the show’s premiere, including producer Irv Gotti, Zane (rapper), Algebra Blessett (singer), Mishon (singer), music group Final Draft (music group), Gary Hayes (“Rickey Smiley Morning Show”), Egypt Sherrod (HGTV), DJ Fadelf, Lovie (Greenleaf) and Diallo Thompson (“Barbershop 3”), among others. Guests enjoyed sounds by DJ Pnut and a live broadcast of the show’s season 2 premiere episode hosted by V103’s Greg Street.

The Rap Game gives five emerging young hip-hop artists, ages 12 to 16, the opportunity to rhyme and flow with Dupri as he searches for the next big name in hip-hop. The show airs Fridays at 10 pm on Lifetime.
