Reportedly, Antoine Fuqua (The Equalizer, Training Day) is in talks to direct the upcoming Scarface remake.

The new film will be the third big screen version of the legendary crime story. According to Deadline.com, “The new one borrows the immigrant rags-to-riches story but presents it in contemporary Los Angeles.” The original version of the film was released in 1932 starring Paul Muni, and the second was released in 1983 with Al Pacino in the lead role.

No anticipated release date has been announced yet for the new Scarface film.
