Harry Fujiwara, better known as WWE Hall of Famer Mr. Fuji, died on Sunday at age 81. The news was announced by the WWE.

A native of Hawaii, Fujiwara had a career spanning over three decades as both an in-ring performer and manager. As a wrestler, he was known for throwing salt in the eyes of his opponents. This move helped him secure one of his five WWE tag team championships.

As a manager, Fujiwara often appeared ringside with wrestlers like Demolition, The Powers of Pain, Don Muraco, and Yokozuna.

Fujiwara would appear in old fashioned formal wear, wearing a bowler hat and tail coat, reminiscent of the James Bond villain Oddjob.

Tributes poured in on Sunday from multiple generations of wrestlers and fans.

“An unforgettable character in front of the camera and an even better one behind it,” tweeted Triple H.
