Comedian Ricky Harris Dies At 54
2016 has claimed yet another casualty.
Comedian Ricky Harris, who’s appeared in numerous television shows, music videos and movies over the last 25 years, passed away Monday at the age of 54. According to reports, the Long Beach, California native died after suffering a heart attack, and news of his death spread quickly via social media.
Ricky rose to notoriety in the hip-hop world during the 90s when he wrote and performed the short comedic sketches that appeared on Snoop Dogg and Warren G‘s early albums. He soon nabbed his first movie roles in films like 1993′s Poetic Justice and Murder Was the Case: The Movie in 1995. From there, Ricky worked consistently as a comedian and actor, appearing in movies like Heat, This Christmas, and Bones, and TV shows like Moesha, CSI: NY, and Everybody Hates Chris.
