We all remember 2005, when we lost a luminary and Comedy Central lost a whoooole lot of money. News of Dave Chappelle‘s departure from his wildly popular sketch television series, Chappelle’s Show, spread throughout the country and all everyone could think was, “Did this dude really just walk away from $50 million?” He did, and he would never return in the way that the masses had grown to love him. Eight years later, I (along with many) have hoped and prayed that one of the baddest comics would return.

Apparently, that day has come. While he’s not returning to Comedy Central or the sketches, he is returning to the stage for a major tour!

Funny or Die has tapped Chappelle to co-headline its Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Tour alongside comedic singing group Flight of the Conchords. The tour is currently slated for 13 dates this summer and will also feature other notable comedians such as Chris D’Elia, Demetri Martin, and Hannibal Buress.

Tickets go on sale June 21 and should go pretty fast given the big-name headliner. If it goes well and Dave parlays it into a full-scale comeback, a new tv show can’t be too far behind, right?

We won’t get our hopes up just yet, but its good to be talking about Dave Chappelle the comedic genius again, rather than the myth.

Cue the Millennial nostalgia… perhaps a decade too early. After months of hype and rumors, the Boy Meets World spinoff/sequel entitled Girl Meets World has been picked up by the Disney Channel to debut sometime in 2014.

The series will reunite original stars Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel as Corey and Topanga. The characters are now married, and the show will follow their tween-aged daughter Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and her best friend Maya (Sabrina Carpenter). But audiences will still see plenty of the original duo: Corey is now the junior high history teacher, and Topanga runs a popular after-school hang out.

Fan favorites Rider Strong, Will Friedle, and of course, Mr. Feeney himself William Daniels have all been spotted on the set as well.

In a statement, original series creator Michael Jacobs described Girl Meets World as “a new show for a new generation that will be rooted in the same kind of honest, comedic storytelling about coming of age and the importance of family and friendship that made ‘Boy Meets World’ so popular.”

So what’s the Disney Channel’s plan – try to make a new kids show that young parents will want to watch too?

Miley Cyrus has one thing she wants you to know: “I’m not who you think I am.”

After years reigning as Disney‘s resident princess while starring on the hit series, Hannah Montana, the now 20-year-old talks of shedding her pop past for an edgier sound in this week’s Billboard cover story, “Miley 2.0.”

“Right now, when people go to iTunes and listen to my old music, it’s so irritating to me because I can’t just erase that stuff and start over,” she says. “My last record [2009's Can't Be Tamed] I feel so disconnected from—I was 16 or 17 when I made it. When you’re in your 20s, you just don’t really know that person anymore.”

Miley’s latest single, “We Can’t Stop,” is a reflection of Miley’s evolution and adulthood. “I didn’t make this song for the critics, but for the people living it,” she says. “I’m 20 years old, and I want to talk to the people that are up all night with their friends. It’s based on a true story of a crazy night I had: When I heard the song for the first time, it captured exactly what I was living.”

Yet, despite working with hip-hop producers like Pharrell Williams and will.i.am on her as-yet-untitled new album due out this fall, Miley assures fans she’s not trying to be the next big female rapper. “A lot of people wanted to try to make me the white Nicki Minaj,” Cyrus told Billboard. “That’s not what I’m trying to do. I love ‘hood’ music, but my talent is as a singer. I’ve always wanted country-rock influences, but now I’m moving over to a more urban side. It’s not a hip-hop album, though—it’s a pop album. I’m not coming in trying to rap. It’s more like, ‘I don’t see any girls out there doing what Miguel and Frank Ocean are doing.’ We’ve been calling it ‘count-step,’ because it’s like country, dubstep and a little trap. I love the Lumineers, but I also love French Montana, Juicy J, Wiz Khalifa and Dolly Parton. If you could put Dolly, some Adele and Juicy J together, you’d have that weird balance.”

Whatever the flavor, Miley hopes her new sound will help her dominate the charts once more. “I want my record to be the biggest record in the world,” she says, “and I’ve given everything to get here, even down to friends and family and relationships—I’ve just put this music first. It’s not like I’m losing who I am—I actually found out more about who I am by making this music. I’m going on a journey, and that’s more than a lot of 20-year-olds can say. And I’m still going to change so much. Because I’m not the same person I was six months ago — I’m not even the same person I was two weeks ago.”

In the behind-the-scenes video from her shoot for the July cover of Vogue, Katy opens up about the way she cultivated her signature style.

“I’ve been dyeing my hair back since I was 15,” she shares. “The whole reason I’ve been dying my hair black, actually, was because when I was 15, I chopped it all off. I had it bleached blonde, like Madonna in Who’s That Girl and it just didn’t look right, so I bought a box of color and went black, and never gone back.”

Despite her stunning good looks, the “Firework” singer admits she didn’t always think she was the bomb. “We used to like to do dramatic make-up but I think we are coming into the more age-appropriate field of experimenting,” she says. “You know, my skin used to be a lot worse than it is. So we would do a lot more coverage because I was insecure about my skin and when you are insecure about your skin you just do a lot more. Most of the time I’m doing stuff with big lights and a lot of HD, so there are a lot of things to think about when painting the face. But I love a good paint. My brows and my eyes I think are what frame my whole face. I have alright lips and alright cheekbones, but they’re no showoffs.”

Throughout his NFL career, Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones has been anything but a saint. In fact, if you look at his rap sheet, it’s amazing that he’s even still in the NFL. From the infamous strip club shooting that took place in Las Vegas back in 2007 to a recent incident that involved him allegedly slapping a woman outside of a Cincinnati bar (he says he did it out of self-defense), Pacman has been accused of doing a lot of bad things during his NFL career. So you would think that the league would have banished him from playing football a long time ago. But they haven’t. They’ve actually embraced—yes, embraced!—Pacman in recent years and even used him as a good example for younger NFL players.

It started last season when the NFL asked Pacman to speak at their annual NFL Rookie Symposium. And by all accounts, his appearance was a success. By using his own person tales of triumph and tragedy, Pacman was able to tell NFL rookies what not to do upon entering the league. He was also able to relate to their problems and to speak directly to them about some of the issues that they would face during their rookie NFL seasons. So the league invited him back again this year to speak to the rookies. But now that he has been charged with a recent assault, is he really the best player for the job? Should the league continue to roll him out in front of rookies? Does Pacman still serve as a good example for them?

You may not like us saying this, but yes, yes, and yes. If nothing else, Pacman is a constant reminder of what can happen to you if you don’t play by the NFL’s rules when you come into the league. At this point in his career, Pacman was expected to be a perennial Pro Bowler. Instead, he’s a serviceable cornerback/punt returner who serves as a cautionary tale for what might happen to a player if he doesn’t take his career seriously enough when he first comes into the league. Pacman is the perfect example of what might happen if players waste their potential.

For that reason—and that reason alone—Pacman should be asked back to this year’s NFL Rookie Symposium and every single NFL Rookie Symposium in the future. He’s worked hard to turn his life around in recent years. And even though he still has his struggles, he’s the kind of guy NFL rookies need standing in front of them. So we hope that the NFL continues to invite him back every year.

Rihanna is expanding her burgeoning fashion empire. On the heels of collaborating with River Island on her first clothing line, the Barbadian beauty is fresh off the runway and behind the latest craze at a Mac Cosmetics counter near you, courtesy of her highly anticipated RiRi Mac Hearts cosmetics collection.

Over the years, we’ve seen all kinds of sneakers that have been sold for thousands of dollars at auctions. From game-worn sneakers that were once worn by NBA players during big games to sample sneakers that were signed by the pro athletes that they were designed for, sneakers are obviously a really, really big business these days. So it’s not a surprise to hear about a crazy pair of kicks being sold at an auction for a lot of money. But even with all of that being said, the sneakers that you see here are unlike any other pair of sneakers that you’ve ever seen auctioned off. They are truly one of a kind, and you’ll never see another pair like them out there.

So what makes these sneakers so damn special? For starters, they are a pair of Air Jordans that Michael Jordan himself wore back in November 1997 during a Chicago Bulls game. But wait, it gets even better. They also feature MJ’s signature on them. But wait, it gets better! As if that wasn’t enough, the Air Jordans also feature an inscription made out to Mike Tyson that says, “To Mike, Stay Strong.” How cool is that? Tyson apparently gave the sneakers to his former assistant Anthony Harris, who in turn decided to auction them off. They are a size 13 and have a lot of noticeable wear on them, given that they were worn during an NBA game.

If you’re interested in possibly purchasing these sneakers, they are up for sale right now through Goldin Auctions. The bidding started at $2500 and, as of right now, they only have one bid on them. But the auction won’t end until the middle of next month, so you still have plenty of time to think about whether or not you want these. If you’ve got the money, they might be worth a purchase because you definitely will not find another pair like this. Princess Diana may no longer be with us. But Naomi Watts is certainly keeping her memory alive and well.

The 44-year-old British/Australian actress channels the late royal in the upcoming biopic Diana (previously titled Caught In Flight). Directed by German director Oliver Hirschbiegel, the film follows the Princess during the final two years of her life, which included her divorce from Prince Charles and her highly-publicized relationship with surgeon Dr. Hasnat Khan, considered by many to be “the love of [Diana's] life.”

The first trailer of the buzz-worthy biopic has finally arrived and Watts doesn’t disappoint as she absolutely nails effervescent beauty, grace, and charm. Diana also stars Naveen Andrews (Lost) as Dr. Khan, Cas Anvar as Dodi Fayed, and Douglas Hodge as royal butler Paul Burrell.

With alleged crime boss Whitey Bulger captured and on trial after 16 years on the run, maybe the FBI is feeling good about closing some more cold cases. The Bureau dug up a Michigan field on Monday, pursuing a new tip about the location of the body of Jimmy Hoffa.

The lead reportedly came from Anthony Zerilli, 85, a reputed former mobster. Zerilli is the son of former Detroit mob boss Joseph Zerilli, who was a leader of the city’s organized crime at the time of Hoffa’s disappearance in 1975. Zerilli was in jail when Hoffa disappeared; but he claims to be close to sources who knew the truth.

Zerilli wrote a manuscript about his revelations, which he sells online, along with autographed photos of himself.

The FBI confirmed that a search was underway in the field in Oakland Township, a suburb of Detroit, but would provide no further details.

Jimmy Hoffa was the powerful president of the Teamsters union from 1958-1971. He was last seen outside the Mauchus Red Fox restaurant in another Detroit suburb, about 20 miles from the site of the current investigation. Hoffa’s disappearance has inspired numerous conspiracy theories, books, and movies, and remains unsolved.
