Bostyon Johnson, 27, CA

“Hello my name is Jessica. My step-dad’s name is Bostyon Johnson and he should be King For A Day!.

“My dad should be king for a day because it would make me feel happy. He has been very faithful to my mom and has been around for a long time. Even though he is not my real dad, he shows what a real dad should be like. He was 18 when he married my mom. My brothers and I were happy to have him in our life. He was funny and we had lots of fun. I don’t remember having this with my real dad. My mom and dad have been married for five years but I feel like it has been longer.

“To me he’s my dad and I know people say why do I call him dad if he’s not that older than me, but I tell them that he is my dad. I do hope one day to see my real dad, but I am happy I have him and I know he’s happy to be here with us too. He’s trying so hard to raise three teenagers and he’s 27. I hope he wins.

“The most important thing to know is that he never had to be here with my brothers and me and I just want to show him that we appreciate it, even though we don’t act like we care, but we do. This is why I believe ‘My Dad Should Be King For A Day!’ Thank you, Jessica Faulkner.”

This is a nice story but I think you have your years mixed up. If your step dad was 18 when he married your mother and they have been married for five years that would make him 23 not 27.
