“I nominate Gasimon ‘Gusto’ Curry to be King For A Day!
“He’s the father of three – two sons (Zyrian and Kendrick) and one daughter (Jade). They’re too young to write this so I decided to write it for them.
“Gasimon has been through a lot in the past couple of years. He lost his baby brother one year, lost his uncle the next year, lost his grandmother the next year, lost his mother this year, and lost his oldest brother to the system (state prison) for life leaving him out here alone (he also takes care of his niece since her father is in prison serving a life sentence).
“Despite all the heartache and pain, Gasimon still focuses on his kids. He’s working several jobs to take care of them. We were just talking about how we wish TI would start an AKOO fashion line for kids. Gasimon is a big fan of AKOO! At first I was like why don’t I see or hear no one else talking about AKOO but you; I see now he was on top of his game!
“As a matter of fact, Mac Boney came to Athens to hang out with him at KDAY (which is celebrated on the day his little brother died and on his birthday). Gasimon is that type of father that sacrifice all to make sure his kids are living comfortable. I could go on and on about how Gasimon would be perfect for ‘King For A Day’ but you would have to meet him to fully understand.”
