“It will be more people doing it. It’s more accessible because of technology; more competitive. As hip hop grows, DJing will grow.”

About DJ BOBBY TRENDS:
Raised in Newark, NJ, DJ Bobby Trends first got interested in DJ’ing at 10 years old when he saw a local DJ from his neighborhood save his older sister’s house party from becoming a disaster. Trends got his start in the New York club scene in 1999 opening for Cipha Sounds and Funkmaster Flex and started headlining his own gigs by 2001. He worked his way into the HOT 97 family in August 2006. Trends is also a member of the Big Dawg Pitbulls and is a sponsored Hennessy Black DJ.
