About DJ TRAUMA:
As the music scene has experienced spurts of redundancy and monotony, Tayari “DJ Trauma” McIntosh’s creativity, versatility, and talent continues to revitalize parties at some of the most remembered celebrity bashes across North America and abroad. Originally from New York, Trauma left the city to attend college at Clark Atlanta University (CAU) in Atlanta, GA. During his tenure at CAU, DJ Trauma gained a fan base by showcasing his programming and mixing skills at countless college parties which shortly thereafter lead to a tour DJ appearance with Bad Boy Entertainment. On an international front, DJ Trauma was the official DJ for the 2009 Channel-O Awards after party in Johannesburg, South Africa, a special invited guest as a conference panelist, instructor and judge during the 2009 New Skool Rules in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. In addition, DJ Trauma has traveled extensively and provided musical navigation for premier nightclubs in Lagos, Nigeria, London, England, Dominican Republic, and Mexico. Nationwide, DJ Trauma has been the featured DJ for annual red carpet events and celebrity bashes hosted by entertainment industry notables such as Russell Simmons, Sean “P-Diddy” Combs, Jay-Z and Kevin Liles, Jamie Foxx, Usher and more. In Atlanta, DJ Trauma has also staked his residency at key Atlanta nightclubs including Velvet Room, the Compound, Luckie Food Lounge, and Club Esso’s. Along with his other accomplishments, Trauma made his mark as a co-founding member of one of the premier DJ crews in the south; the World Famous Super Friends, brought havoc to the airwaves as the featured DJ on Atlanta’s most popular hip-hop station HOT 107.9 FM’s “Emergency Room”, and reigned as one of the Atlanta’s best DJs on MTV’s Direct Effect.
