“My name is Claudia Lynn and I’m 43 years old and I live in NJ. My Dad should be King for a Day.
“He is a hard-working man. My dad has survived being raised in Alabama picking cotton and being paid three dollars a week. And then he came to NJ to make a better life for me and my siblings. Pictured in the photograph is my brother on the right and me in the middle and mom and dad on the left.
“My dad has helped many people in his lifetime: taking people back and forth to work and helping them get jobs, helping married couples at his church and being a great inspiration to young people by encouraging them to seek better education and teaching them how to save their money. He also speaks to young men about not joining gangs.
“He has also been a great inspiration to me. I want my son to be just like him. He’s still working a full-time job even after we lost my sister, his daughter. This is why my dad should be King for a Day.”
